We started as a team of scientists tackling two of the most prominent environment challenges: the relentless rise of greenhouse gas and the conglomerating plastic waste.

Nature has its way to achieve a sustained economy. Plants “eat” carbon dioxide to produce its “fuel” and “material”, both stored in the form of biomass.

Now our teams have invented processes that can convert vegetable oil (a common biomass) into upgraded biodiesel and poly(lactic acid) (PLA) with near perfect material utilization.

We are excited about this breakthrough because biodiesel can reduce carbon dioxide emission and PLA is a highly regarded biodegradable material.
