This complex affects alkylation of amines with alcohols via transfer hydrogenation (DOI: 10.1021/acscatal.6b03088). This reactivity has been applied to the rapid preparation of N-heterocycles (DOI: 10.1021/acs.orglett.0c01485), including piperazines and diazepanes (DOI: 10.1021/acs.orglett.3c00468).
